Why are you here? Why am I here? What is this awful place?!?

Those are in fact all great questions that I don’t really have an answer to.

I only came to this place because I was inspired by a (now fellow) writer on here who posted about about a publication that a couple of my poems were published in last December. I read the letter and liked that it had the mouthfeel of a blog post but the easily accessible format. Then I had another thought. What if I made one of those to share my writing with people?

I looked up what a Substack even was then decided to give it a try. I obviously went straight to Canva to make a banner for my email newsletters (whatever those are) and then to the design side where I could make it my own.

Anyway, you are probably here because I added you to my subscribers list (surprise!) or you found me some other way.

The things I plan on writing here will likely vary between blog style posts to maybe even research papers. Only time will tell, but expect a variety of styles, subjects, and a lot of average writing (with Oxford commas).

Feel free to stick around and enjoy a cup of metaphorical matcha.
