Chattering in the thick summer air
Infecting the land with a natural allure with
Scarlet feathers to match the bloody sunsets and
Sky dances that entrance those all around.
Oklahoma.
Radiating nature in its purest form
Taunting us with stories from the past
All from your branch on that old hackberry
If only you could understand the depth of the
Lacerations you leave on our souls.
